Natural Menopause Remedies

Holistic approaches to ease the transition

A Holistic Approach for Menopause Symptoms

Help with Loneliness

Put simply, menopause is used to describe the process of whereby a woman’s body stops the period. i.e. the menstrual cycle pauses. It usually occurs around the ages of 45-55.

From a more holistic viewpoint, this phase in a women’s life can also be thought of as the transition from child bearing opportunity to that of nurturing and preparing the next generation for life’s trials and tribulations (obviously amongst all else she is still managing to do!).

If children were not had, it is still a natural phenomenon to help transition the female into the next stage in her life.

The body naturally does this by producing less hormones for fertility purposes thereby allowing the body to divert it’s resources elsewhere – where it is needed most.

Typical Symptoms of Menopause

Unfortunately, many females are affected both mentally and physically during this phase and can experience symptoms such as:

  • anxiety
  • mood swings
  • brain fog, headaches
  • irregular periods
  • weight gain
  • muscle and joint pain
  • hot flushes
  • itching and dryness
  • sleep issues
  • night sweats
  • feelings of isolation, loneliness and lack of purpose
  • low self esteem
  • reduced sex drive

Conventional Approach to Treating Menopause Symptoms in the UK

In the UK, when a woman is suffering from menopause symptoms, it is common for the NHS to provide HRT to prolong hormone activity in an attempt to reduce symptoms and restore balance. This is not a natural remedy but a chemical based alternative to ‘insert’ what the body is no longer (or wants to) naturally producing.

It is not always guaranteed to work and usually requires a referral from your GP. It can also have side effects.

Natural/Holistic Menopause Approaches

There are numerous suggestions across the internet on what may work but through my practice I have honed in on some very effective solutions:

Diet & Lifestyle

Adopting a healthy diet and lifestyle can indeed have an impact on menopause symptoms.

Implementing a diet that is varied, nurturing and suitably supplemented (where appropriate) improves general wellbeing, mood and resilience and can help you transition through this next phase of your life.

The feeling of internal fortitude and wellbeing from making more discerning food and lifestyle choices can impact all aspects of your life, not just the symptoms related to menopause. I’m sure you’ve noticed how great those who are following a good nutrition program look and feel, regardless what stage of life they are in.

There are many guides on the internet but it is worth seeing a holistic / healing nutritionist if you’re stuck for what this might look like for you personally.

Emotional Release for Menopause

Menopause is a natural phase in a women’s life, however, for many it can bring to the surface many strong emotions such as:

  • feelings of lack of purpose
  • fear of change or old age
  • control issues
  • internal resistance to the change
  • feelings around body image, attractiveness, worth
  • feelings of isolation and loneliness, anger, resentment, powerlessness
  • resistance to being like mother or father

Facing the above and any other related anxiety through emotional release sessions can greatly help with menopause symptoms and is a completely natural, drug free approach.

After all, what affects the mind also affects the body!

Tachyonized Women’s Tonic (OS-H35) for Menopause

OS35 Tachyonized Women’s Tonic

I have been recommending Tachyonized Women’s Tonic tonic to clients, family and friends for years and the feedback has been very positive. It is a Tachyonized(TM) herb based tonic created specifically to help with help with menstrual cycle problems and pain, premenstrual syndrome, and menopause.

Positive results may be seen in as little as a few days or may take several weeks or longer depending upon the individual situation. This has also been the feedback from many clients who have taken this tonic.

It is probably the most effective menopause natural remedy I have come across as it has an impact on both the physical and emotional symptoms simultaneously.

Obviously, everyone’s circumstances are different and you should consult your doctor if you have any concerns about your menopause symptoms or have more serious underlying medical conditions which could be making your menopause symptoms worse.
