Anxiety affects millions of people worldwide, impacting their daily lives, relationships and overall well-being. Therapy plays a crucial role in helping individuals manage anxiety effectively and in many cases, resolve it to the degree it it no longer a factor for the individual.

What is Anxiety Therapy?

Anxiety therapy / counselling is a therapeutic process that aims to directly address anxiety-related issues. My approach is simple but highly effective in dissolving the charge on anchoring memories, emotions and body responses so you can move on with a greater sense of well-being and resilience.


Assessment and Understanding

Here the anxiety symptoms, triggers, and underlying causes will all be assessed. Is there a specific type of anxiety (e.g. generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, panic disorder) or is it a constant background feeling?


The Story behind it

How did it really come to be? Here we examine your truth of how the anxiety came to be and how woven into your identity it has become. How much does it define your behaviours and perspective.

Release and resolve

At this stage I will guide you through a process to help release and resolve the underlying stresses and trauma. This will help you connect to your inner wisdom and invite a new perspective – one that feels more like YOUR truth.

Repeat until done

We repeat this process until you are so far removed from the anxiety that you can barely identify with it any more. This way you do not need to rely on a ‘coping strategy’ as is the case of many conventional approaches.

    Identify irrational thoughts (e.g., catastrophizing, all-or-nothing thinking). Replace them with more realistic and balanced perspectives.
  • Self-Care
    Prioritize sleep, nutrition, exercise, and relaxation. Engage in activities that bring joy and fulfillment.
